DiNapoli announced Thursday that the New York State Common Retirement Fund has filed suit in a Delaware court against Qualcomm Inc. for the right to inspect the company’s books and records to determine how shareholder funds are being spent for political purposes.

DiNapoli. The findings were referred to the Herkimer County District Attorney’s Office.
