Today, July 4, 2025, marks the 250th anniversary of the vote adopting the Declaration of Independence, an event that was among the first steps towards the establishment of the United States of America, the signing of which took place in Philadelphia at the Pennsylvania State House, later renamed Independence Hall, on August 2, 1776, by 56 of the delegates to the Second Continental Congress.
